As a Master Photographer and Craftsman through the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Jacqueline combines fine art creativity with professional photography expertise to ensure every couple looks and feels their absolute best. About Charles John “Dobbie” Vandersluys

Charles John “Dobbie” Vandersluys, M.Photog., Cr., is an award-winning Canadian Master Photographer with more than 50 years of experience capturing weddings, portraits, and the beauty of Niagara Falls. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Charles comes from the historic Dobbie’s Florist family, a Niagara landmark established in 1888.

Known for his artistic vision, professionalism, and warm personal approach, Charles has earned a reputation as one of Niagara’s most respected photographers. His work has been recognized internationally, earning both Master of Photography and Craftsman degrees through the Professional Photographers of America — a distinction that made him the only photographer in Niagara to achieve both at the time.

Over the years, Charles has photographed notable figures including Justin and Margaret Trudeau, former Prime Minister Joe Clark, illusionist Doug Henning, celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, actor Christopher Lloyd, Lt.-Gen. Roméo Dallaire, and world-famous tightrope walkers Nik Wallenda and Jay Cochrane. His photography assignments have taken him throughout Canada, the United States, Jamaica, Hawaii, and the Caribbean.
